This past month, the Rocky Trail team made waves at the iconic Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California. But it wasn’t just about shredding epic Californian trails. They were there to unveil a groundbreaking announcement with the “first look trailer” below: the launch of Sea Otter Australia in October 2025!
Mogo Trails Goes Global:
To give the Sea Otter Classic crowd and you a taste of what’s to come, we’re thrilled to share the official Sea Otter Australia “first look” video trailer! This electrifying trailer showcases the beauty and potential of the Mogo Trails, offering a glimpse into the incredible mountain bike experience that awaits.
This brand-new event will propel the Mogo Trails onto the international stage. Imagine shredding world-class tracks, surrounded by fellow riders from across the globe – that’s the vision for Sea Otter Australia. It joins the ranks of its legendary counterparts: the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey and Sea Otter Europe in Girona, Spain.
Sea Otter Australia promises to be a massive celebration of mountain biking for riders and enthusiasts of all levels. From thrilling races to exciting demos and a vibrant festival atmosphere, this event will have something for everyone.
Mogo Trails Construction Update:
Speaking of potential, the construction of the Mogo Trails project is well underway. Juliane Wisata, Director and Co-Founder of Rocky Trail Destination, recently provided an update at Ride Ready Workshop, hosted by our client, the Eurobodalla Shire Council, at the new Fox Dog Distillery in Mogo.
Over 65km are now built and the team is gearing up to the opening of the first Stage in the second half of 2024 with signage going in over the next weeks and trail entry and exits being groomed. Major trail head construction is set to start within the next 2 months.
