Exciting times are afoot at Rocky Trail Destination as we fast-track the Mogo Trails project, set to redefine mountain biking on the NSW South Coast. Since our construction kick-off on January 9, 2023, the momentum has been unstoppable, reaching full mobilisation in April with a powerhouse team of 25 staff and 10 excavators reshaping the landscape.
👷♂️Construction Progress:
As the dust settles, our team is leaving no stone unturned. Currently, we’re meticulously finalising signage, emergency protocols, and safety measures to ensure a seamless riding experience. Tenacious efforts are underway to have a substantial portion of the trail network open by mid-2024, with the grand unveiling of the complete network slated for early 2025.
🛠️ Crafting the Next Level:
The Mogo Trails are not just trails; they’re a promise of ‘next level’ riding and racing. Closed for now, we’re gearing up with new signage and refining the network to offer an unparalleled biking adventure on the NSW South Coast.
🌲 A Trail Network Like No Other:
Encompassing 130km+ of new pure biking delight in the Mogo State Forest, areas surrounding Deep Creek Dam, and the Wandera State Forest, our design, rooted in the Eurobodalla Shire Council’s Masterplan, promises a trail network for seasoned riders, gravity enthusiasts, and young trailblazers to hone their skills.

🙏 Gratitude to Our Partners:
Our heartfelt thanks to the Eurobodalla Shire Council and the NSW Forestry Corporation for their support. Their enthusiasm and commitment have been instrumental in shaping the Mogo Trails into a modern mountain biking haven.
🗣️ Words from Martin Wisata:
Martin Wisata from Rocky Trail Destination envisions the Mogo Trails as a space fostering social interaction, providing a unique outdoor experience for locals and visitors alike. It’s more than a trail network; it’s a testament to the potential of nature-based tourism, promising recreational, social, and economic boons for the Eurobodalla community. 🌟 Empowering Local Tourism and Community Spirit:
The Mogo Trails aren’t just about creating an unrivaled biking haven; they’re a catalyst for local tourism and community enrichment. Partnering with the vibrant Batemans Bay Mountain Bike Club, we’re tapping into their passion and expertise to bring the trails to life. Together, we’re not just crafting trails; we’re nurturing a community-driven tourism venture that promises to uplift the spirit of the Eurobodalla region. We also congratulate the Narooma MTB Club and community for their successful establishment of the Narooma MTB Trails further South within the Eurobodalla Shire region, which will further enrich the riding and racing offering.

Get ready, riders, for a trail network like no other, offering endless possibilities for every biking enthusiast. Together with Next Level MTB, we’re embarking on a journey to create one of Australia’s most significant mountain bike networks, setting the stage for an array of flagship and series events. The countdown to riding and racing the Mogo Trails is on!
